Description :

Travel RN position in the Bone Marrow Transplant ICU.

The unit has 37 beds and employs 82 nurses and 7 Patient Care Technicians.

Day shifts typically have 1 charge nurse, 15-16 nurses, and 3 Patient Care Technicians.

Night shifts have a similar staffing structure.

Patient ratios are maintained at 3 : 1.

Equipment used in the unit includes Alaris Pumps.

The electronic medical record system is Meditech.

Oncology experience is essential for candidates.

ACLS certification is required for consideration.

Chemotherapy certification, BMTCN, and / or OCN are preferred.

Typical procedures in the unit include chemotherapy administration and Neutropenic Fever protocols.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.

The unit promotes a culture of positivity and a commitment to helping patients overcome cancer.

Experience in a leading Blood & Marrow Transplant center is a significant advantage.

The team is involved in innovative CAR-T research for blood cancer therapies.
