Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate the crane with skill, control, and precisionBe knowledgeable in the safe operations of the craneConduct daily visual inspection of this equipment to ensure it is in good working conditionUnderstand rigging procedures and be knowledgeable in rigging equipment capacitiesClimbing up and down from this equipment and from form surfacesBe knowledgeable in Assembly and Disassembly of the cranePerform maintenance on the machine and keep the machine in good working orderActs in professional manner that demonstrates the individual has good character and can be trusted by all employeesUnderstand and follow the manufacturer’s operator’s manual for the machine he is operatingEDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GEDMust have interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and managersMust be able to solve problems quickly and efficientlyGeneral math skills and ability to read tape measureAbility to work with others to get the project completed efficiently and work independently when neededUnderstand and accept changes that are implemented to become Best in ClassNCCCO Certified OperatorOSHA 102 Years of rigging experienceClimb up and down the craneAbility to fix and diagnose mechanical problemsDesire to set the pace of the job by working efficientlyMust understand crane Load chartsConduct daily and monthly crane and rigging inspectionsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionallyPhysically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands / forearms repetitively and frequentlyAbility to move around for up to 12 hours per dayAbility to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages and man lifts at various heights frequentlyWORKING CONDITIONS
