Tool & Die Maker – Direct Hire

Location : Sturgeon Bay, WI

Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 5 : 55 AM–4 : 25 PM (occasional Fridays)

Pay : $28–$34 / hour, based on experience

Type : Full-Time, Direct Hire

We’re looking for an experienced Tool & Die Maker to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance high-speed stamping dies and tooling. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering stable weekday hours, strong benefits, and room to grow your technical expertise.

What You’ll Do

• Perform precision toolmaking and die maintenance work for high-speed stamping operations.
• Set up and operate Tool Room equipment including grinders, mills, lathes, and EDM machines.
• Plan and execute complex die repairs and improvements with minimal supervision.
• Conduct inspections to ensure tooling accuracy, performance, and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior toolmakers and machinists.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and production documentation.
• Use forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided if needed).
