EY-Parthenon – Deals – Financial Diligence – Sell Side – Director position based in multiple U.S. locations. The opportunity involves supporting large, high-profile divestiture projects, providing tailored guidance to maximize value, and collaborating across EY-Parthenon service lines.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Director with EY-Parthenon’s Deals – Financial Diligence - Sell Side team, you\'ll support the execution of transformational deals, working as a team to solve complex challenges. You\'ll need authority and confidence in your professionalism, with the ability to integrate into complex client teams and develop staff and seniors to support career development.
Skills And Attributes For Success
- Experience handling divestitures, including carve-outs, spins and full-enterprise sales for private investor groups and corporate buyers.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational results of businesses to be sold through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management.
- Ability to assist clients in the preparation of SEC filings, including carve-out audited financial statements.
- Staying up to date on industry trends and technologies, as well as seasonality and cyclicality on cash flow requirements to provide authoritative knowledge and insight to clients.
- Microsoft Excel skills including the ability to process, manipulate and concisely present large amounts of data; knowledge of Alteryx and Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
Qualifications
A bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience.Significant public accounting experience.Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.Solid negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. Travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.Proven ability to identify and assess business and technical issues, distill key insights, and deliver clear, strategic recommendations to executives.Ideally, you will have
A proven record of excellence in audit and / or mergers or acquisitions transaction\'s role.An active CPA certification.Experience gained within another large professional services organization.Established networking skills in a relevant industry.Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.What We Look For

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you\'ll be rewarded based on your performance. The base salary ranges from $120,400 to $220,700 (New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California ranges : $144,500 to $250,900).
