Position Summary

The Data Specialist role supports the company’s strategic goals by improving and maintaining our website to ensure it is optimized, accurate, and customer-friendly. Responsibilities include updating product information, managing website content, and ensuring all data is complete, correct, and easy to find across multiple platforms.

By maintaining strong systems and efficient processes, this position helps drive lead generation for the sales team, supports customer loyalty, and strengthens our competitive advantage through superior product knowledge and availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Attend weekly check-in meetings with the Marketing Manager
• Document and resolve problem logs as they arise
• follow the work request standards to support work requests from management, escalate issues and document variance with work requests as needed
• Follow and implement systems and processes provided in the Data Specialist binder, review updates to systems as they are made, and recommend improvements to management
• Review and respond to emails that directly related to the Data Specialist position, P# requests, and reports involving relevant data
• Review, schedule, and track daily, weekly, and monthly routine tasks and special projects using shared Gmail calendars, NetSuite tasks, Team Priorities sheets, and other tools as appropriate
• Complete special project tasks that advance the efforts of HHP marketing and sales
• Brainstorm new and innovative ideas that assist with the company’s strategic objective
• Oversee the execution of assigned action plans and special projects
• Assist with troubleshooting and solving problems that arise in regards to product information and other website functions
• Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed and brainstorm new ideas
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining the website platform
• Assist in training new data employees on relevant processes and procedures
• Conduct product data audits, such as the A Turn, B Turn, C Turn, IMB, PAI, Memo, In Stock, and Dead Stock audits as needed
• Compile, clean, and validate data for products
• Track third-party spending and report variances against the budget
• Audit and optimize blogs, blog categories, schemas, and FAQs
• Oversee Product Finder maintenance and coordinate to implement website improvements
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
