We're looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Commercial Insurance team. In this role, you'll manage the overall service and administration of client accounts. You'll work independently and collaboratively to support client needs, coordinate with carriers, and ensure timely, accurate service. This is a client-facing role where you'll use your knowledge of Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance to maintain and enhance long-term relationships while supporting client profitability. This position involves managing a complex book of business, taking a lead role in retention efforts, and contributing to broader departmental goals. This position offers flexibility with the option to work remotely; however, we value in-person collaboration and require some onsite participation for training, team building, and strategic meetings. The team aims to meet in person at least once a week to maintain cohesion. Qualified candidates must be residents of VT, NH, MA, or NY.

A solid foundation in Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance, backed by practical experience and a genuine commitment to outstanding client service. You thrive on managing client relationships with professionalism and care, balancing attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture. Whether working independently or collaborating with a team, you understand the importance of clear communication, timely follow-through, and delivering solutions that meet both client needs and business goals. Your expertise allows you to confidently navigate complex insurance matters, supporting clients through every step of the issuance and renewal process.

In this role, you will :

  • Manage client accounts through the issuance and renewal cycle.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Analyze coverage needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage a complex book of business with a focus on retention.
  • Oversee billing, invoicing, and renewals.
  • Lead communication among clients, producers, and carriers.
  • Mentor team members and support departmental goals.

What You'll Need to Succeed :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; professional designations a plus.
  • Active Property & Casualty license with CE credits maintained.
  • 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience.
  • Complex account management preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

  • $65,000 - $85,000 a year

    Starting at $65,000, depending on experience, plus a $1,000 signing bonus. The salary range provided is a good-faith estimate of the base pay for this position. Actual salary will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, knowledge, and abilities.
