Primary Objective : Oversees receiving and inventory controls of raw materials and packaging materials used throughout manufacturing process.

Major Function and Scope :

• Accurately monitors inventory records, processes, and programs for Materials Team.
• Utilizes information systems to confirm receiving and inventory control schedules, and allocate resources as needed.
• Coordinates with Planning Team and suppliers to optimize inbound flow.
• Monitors discrepancies between usage and inventory level reporting, and works with Inventory Controllers to resolve.
• Trains personnel in all new receiving / inventory related jobs.
• Coordinates audits completed by internal and external audit teams.
• Participates in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost reduction and Process Improvement initiatives.
• Assist in developing SOP's and JSA's for all receiving and inventory related tasks.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all established standard operating procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
