Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations in a retail setting. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with a strong background in pharmacy management, patient care, and regulatory pliance.

Location : Auburn, NY

Schedule / Hours :

  • Variable schedule with evening hours required at times
  • Typically 4x10 or 4x12 shifts (e.g., 8am8pm)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy
  • Ensure the pharmacy plies with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and pany policies
  • Manage pharmacy operations to achieve financial goals, including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, third-party administration, and inventory control
  • Lead business development initiatives within the store and local munity
  • Oversee pharmacy support personnel, including training, performance management, and accountability for regulatory pliance
  • Ensure all pharmacy staff plete required pany training
  • Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs
  • Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug use, dosages, interactions, side effects, and monitor patient progress for optimal therapeutic outes
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy department
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement to enhance patient safety
  • plete continuing education programs as required by state law

    • Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • Valid New York State pharmacist license
  • Immunization certification with confidence administering all vaccines
  • Strong leadership and management skills in a retail pharmacy environment
  • Excellent munication and counseling abilities
