The AI Solutions Architect - Automation and Innovation for Optima Tax Relief, LLC ("Optima") is located in the Santa Ana, California office and reports to the Chief Technology Officer. This role must partner with business units to analyze workflows, identify automation opportunities, explore available AI tools in the market, and design / implement solutions that drive measurable business impact. This role requires both strategic market awareness and hands-on solution development. This role must also champion Optima's culture and Core Values and help to deliver the best customer experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
Work closely with marketing, sales, servicing, finance and accounting teams to understand workflows / processes, identify manual processes / inefficiencies, and define opportunities for automation.
Continuously research and evaluate emerging AI tools, SaaS products, and automation platforms to determine whether to buy, customize, or build solutions.
Design, architect, and implement AI-driven solutions using AWS AI / ML services (Lex, Comprehend, Bedrock, SageMaker, etc.), RPA platforms, and third-party automation tools.
Lead proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilots for new AI technologies and assess ROI before full-scale deployment.
Integrate AI solutions with existing C#, AWS Connect, Salesforce and other enterprise applications to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Develop intelligent document processing, chatbots, NLP-driven assistants, and workflow automation systems to support all business departments.
Partner with business leaders to ensure solutions directly impact KPIs such as customer satisfaction, turnaround time, compliance accuracy, and operational cost reduction.
Provide AI / automation thought leadership, stay ahead of market trends, and make strategic recommendations for adoption.
Train internal teams on AI-enabled workflows and build organizational readiness for automation.
Follow company protocols to ensure the highest level of security to protect the client Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
Other duties as assigned.
In order to be provided the essential training required to be successful in this role, it is mandatory that you are present for and complete all essential / initial training onsite for up to 5 business days (unless prior management approval is provided). Please note that additional onsite training may be required depending on business need.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven experience as an AI Architect, AI Solutions Lead, or Automation Strategist with success in delivering real-world AI solutions.
Strong knowledge of AWS AI / ML ecosystem and integration with customer service platforms (especially AWS Connect).
Background in fintech, customer service automation, or compliance-heavy industries a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,& ABILITIES
Experience researching and deploying third-party AI / automation tools (RPA, SaaS solutions, intelligent document processing, chatbot platforms, etc.).
Hands-on skills in C#, Python, SQL, and modern integration frameworks.
Business acumen and ability to evaluate technology not just for feasibility but for ROI and workflow optimization.
Strong communication skills to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders.
