Production Planner

Key Responsibilities
- Establish, coordinate, and expedite the flow of work and materials within the assigned business unit
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components
- Monitor work-in-progress and address any production delays or issues proactively
- Maintain accurate production and inventory records
- Continuously analyze production processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Support capacity planning and resource allocation to meet production targets
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations

Job Responsibilities
Analyzes, prepares, and issues production work orders and coordinates material requirements to ensure a controlled flow to the production department floor in support of customer deliveries.Analyze and issue purchase requisitions for assigned material to support production according to MRP requirements, inventory, or Kanban.Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies for assigned material.Coordinates material and production scheduling in support for engineering development.Provides production status to sales department.Provides production lead time data to sales department and or management.Works closely with purchasing on material and supplier issues and delays.Interfaces with program managers on new projects from design thru production release.Abides by all safety polices.Works to minimize inventory and review capacity.Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions in English.Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing experience (Hands-on a plus)Aerospace manufacturing experienceERP / MRP experienceMinimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years relevant experience.Proficiency Skills
ERP software conceptsMaterial Requirements Planning (MRP)Data analysis utilizing Microsoft ExcelAbility to read and understand documents such as engineering drawings, computer reports, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.Salary Description
