Job descriptionProvide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies, collaborating with maternal-fetal medicine and other specialties Perform vaginal, operative vaginal, and cesarean deliveries Provide emergency obstetric care and consultation services Evaluate and treat a broad range of gynecologic conditions, both acute and chronic Provide outpatient procedures such as colposcopy, IUD placement / removal, biopsies, and sonography Perform gynecologic surgeries, including minimally invasive and open procedures Educate and counsel patients on reproductive health, contraception, and menopause management Provide clinical and didactic teaching to OB / GYN residents and medical students Perform other duties, as needed M.D. or D.O. Unrestricted State of Connecticut (current or eligible) Board Eligible or Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Current BLS certification DEA Registration
A health services network in CT is currently seeking a board-eligible / certified OB / GYN Generalist to join their growing team. In this role, the OB / GYN Generalist will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based, comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients at the facility.
