We’re seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated
- Electrical Project Manager
- to lead commercial electrical projects from concept to completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and is passionate about delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing multiple projects statewide, managing everything from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout. Strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset are essential.
- Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Execution
- Organize, supervise, and direct assigned electrical projects
- Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution from start to finish
- Conduct site visits, evaluate scopes, and create detailed take-offs
- Monitor and document project progress using company software
- Client & Team Collaboration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and resolving issues
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Foster a collaborative, safety-first culture across all job sites
- Attend coordination meetings with architects, engineers, and other trades
- Estimating & Financial Oversight
- Prepare accurate cost estimates based on specs, materials, and labor
- Develop competitive bids and pricing strategies
- Manage change orders, RFIs, and maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycle
- Attend job-cost meetings and maintain budget control
- Compliance & Reporting
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and Florida Building Codes
- Generate reports on project status, risks, and financial performance
- Ensure all installations meet quality and code standards
- Requirements
- 10+ years of commercial electrical project management experience OR extensive assistant PM experience
- Proven ability to manage 3+ commercial electrical projects concurrently
- OSHA 30 certification
- Strong planning, decision-making, and team-building skills
- Proficiency in Accubid, Bluebeam, Simpro, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Skilled in forecasting material, equipment, and manpower needs
- Experience leading field teams and enforcing safety protocols
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and communication
- Experience with large-scale commercial builds or renovations
- Familiarity with local permitting and inspection processes
