Role : STAFF AUG - IPAM Network Engineer

Term : 6 Month Temp-to-Hire

Pay Rate : $60.00 / hr

Conversion Salary : $110,000.00

Location : Midtown Manhattan (New York City)

Schedule : 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM, Monday–Friday, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

We are seeking a skilled Engineer with expertise in EfficientIP (EIP) and NetBox. The candidate should be capable of working with advanced tools like Python, Ansible, and Jinja templates to contribute to broader network and automation tasks. The individual should have DDI knowledge and Python experience.

Note : The day-to-day activities may involve guidance from the project lead and collaboration on multiple aspects of the project.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize network configurations in EfficientIP (EIP) IPAM.
• Perform Block / Subnet corrections, KV Attribute management, and resolve inheritance issues.
• Design and implement hierarchical structures (e.g., supernets by function, reservations by site, subnets by device).
• Synchronize EIP with other tools like IP Fabric, NetBox, and DHCP server.
• Install, configure, and manage NetBox, requiring Linux and PostgreSQL skills.
• Synchronize NetBox with EIP and IP Fabric.
• Develop and maintain reservation tools within NetBox.
• Integrate and manage customer data within NetBox.
• Integrate the reservation tool and NetBox with AVD (Arista Validated Designs).
• Utilize AVD as a configuration management tool for network automation.
• Develop templates for campus network designs and ad hoc single-switch setups.
• Create Python scripts for automation and custom integrations.
• Build scalable workflows with Ansible and Jinja templates for configuration management.
