West Virginia University WVU) School of Medicine seeks a new Regional Chair of Family Medicine for the Eastern Division in collaboration with West Virginia University Hospitals / University Health Associates. This is an exceptional leadership opportunity for a physician with unwavering commitment to excellence in clinic care, education and research.

SUMMARY : The Regional Chair of the Department of Family Medicine - Eastern Division is responsible for overall clinical, educational, scholarship / research, and service provided by the Department. This includes ensuring the highest quality of care and service, consistency in the standard of practice, maintaining excellence across the educational spectrum and enabling scholarly advances in the field. Reporting to the Eastern Division Dean and the Chair of FM in Morgantown, the Regional Chair facilitates an interdisciplinary approach to achieve excellence in clinical care, education, and research in an environment in which collaboration is valued and encouraged.

ALLOCATION OF TIME : Administrative 50%; Clinical and Educational 50% (variable).
