Sanvean Technologies is a privately held company founded in 2015 to design, develop and manufacture innovative downhole measurement and control-systems technology for oil, gas and geothermal drilling. Sanvean is looking for a Drilling Dynamics Data Analyst to become specialized in the interpretation of CuBIC high-frequency embedded sensor and EDR data. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, hardworking, punctual and detail-oriented individual.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Compile and interpret high-frequency drilling dynamics data and EDR data to improve drilling performance (specifically for North America Land Shale and Geothermal applications).
• Learn from experts in downhole drilling dynamics, downhole tools, rig data, rig control systems and operational techniques to become a specialist in this domain.
• Must be a self-starter capable of taking responsibility for all aspects of drilling dynamics projects, including data gathering and wrangling.
• Good with data interpretation and correlation.
• High attention to detail when annotating logs and compiling reports.
• Present drilling dynamics reports to Drilling Engineers.
