Position : RN – Labor & Delivery (Days)

Facility : Samaritan Healthcare

Location : 1550 S Pioneer Way, Moses Lake, WA 98837

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Shift : Days | 3x12s

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week (Facility may cancel up to 24 hours per 13-week contract)

Pay Package : $52 / Hour on W2 + $1228 / Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend for lodging & Meal = Gross Weekly : $3100

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients.

Monitor, interpret, and document maternal and fetal vital signs.

Assist physicians and certified nurse midwives during deliveries and surgical procedures (e.g., C-sections).

Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.

Operate and monitor fetal monitoring equipment and respond to changes promptly.

Manage patient emergencies such as hemorrhage, preeclampsia, or fetal distress.

Educate patients and families regarding birth plans, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

Accurately document all nursing care, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Requirements

License : Active Washington RN license or Compact License

Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience in an acute care hospital

Certifications :

BLS – American Heart Association

NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program

Fetal Monitoring – Intermediate or Advanced

ACLS – Preferred
