As a Registered Nurse in our Neonatal Intermediate Care unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care in an acute inpatient setting. We seek compassionate individuals who are dedicated to supporting our patients and their families.
Job Summary
In this role, you will provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care, demonstrating clinical competency through evidence-based practices. You will manage the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. You will adhere to safety protocols and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans.
- Continuously update care plans based on evolving patient conditions and communicate changes effectively.
- Promote a culture of respect for the diverse cultural and spiritual beliefs of our patients and families.
- Coordinate discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-hospitalization.
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing protocols.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to healthcare team members and monitor the execution of assigned responsibilities.
- Prioritize patient safety by maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality audits.
- Engage in patient education efforts to ensure understanding and engagement in care plans.
- Reflect on personal practice for continuous improvement and professional development.
- Serve as the advocate for patients and coordinate care among the healthcare team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Education : Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience : At least one (1) year of experience as a registered nurse.Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
Current RN compact / multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or state licensure to practice as an RN.This position may require weekend, holiday, and on-call work.
