Job Summary

The Programmer Analyst 6 - Full Stack Developer will play a key role in modernizing the legacy IT applications used by the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) . These applications support compliance, security, registration, and responsible gaming management across the state. The modernization effort aims to replace end?of?life systems with modern, scalable technologies , ensuring operational reliability and long?term support for critical state functions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy robust full?stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud?ready architectures.

Collaborate with UI / UX designers, DevOps engineers, testers, and business analysts to deliver efficient, maintainable solutions.

Ensure clean code, consistent architecture, and adherence to state development standards.

Participate in agile ceremonies , sprint planning, code reviews, and DevOps deployment cycles.

Contribute to documentation, testing, and release management for production?ready systems.

Required Experience

3+ years of hands?on experience with front?end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js .

3+ years of experience with .NET C# development .

3+ years of SQL Server experience , including stored procedures and performance optimization.

Nice?to?Have Experience

Experience developing within government or regulated environments .

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS).

Understanding of CI / CD pipelines , automated testing, and code quality practices.

Required Skills

Front?end frameworks (React / Angular / Vue.js)

SQL Server

DevOps and CI / CD integration
