• Must start on 1 / 5 schedule
• Work in 10-bed ICU on 5th floor
• Patient ratios of 1 : 2-3 patients per nurse
• Day shift staffing : 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 1 unit secretary
• Night shift staffing : 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs
• Every other weekend schedule required, no on-call responsibilities
• Work with GE bedside telemetry monitoring equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Navy scrubs required
• Must have proficiency with care of ventilated patients
• Must have proficiency with titration of sedation, analgesia, and vasoactive cardiac medications
• Medical ICU experience preferred
• Rapid response / code blue team experience preferred
• Assist with RSI and arterial or central line placement procedures
• Perform slow / continuous dialysis via TABLO (SLED)
• Required certifications : ACLS required, CCRN preferred
• Float to IMCU, NSICU, and MedSurg as needed
