Position Overview :
The Senior Staff Accountant manages financial data collection, reporting, and ensures resources are properly handled per the organization’s business plan.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure timely and accurate accounting for all transactions and reporting.
- Maintain recurring accounting schedules and processes (daily to annual).
- Produce monthly financial statements and supplemental reports.
- Support year-end audit and tax return preparation.
- Maintain general ledger and reconcile all accounts.
- Assist with payroll, accounts payable, and cash disbursements.
- Update and track fixed assets and depreciation.
- Prepare special financial reports and collaborate on annual budgeting.
