A growing and established Accounting and Financial Advisory firm in the Baltimore Metro area seeks a qualified and experienced Tax Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage tax control processes and procedures across North American operations.
- Collaborate with leadership to design and execute strategic initiatives supporting the firm's tax practice and overall growth.
- Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for all tax-related functions.
- Lead and deliver tax training programs, technical initiatives, and staff development.
- Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues and develop effective tax planning strategies.
- Demonstrate expertise in individual, C corporation, S corporation, partnership, and fiduciary tax matters - including tax return review and, when necessary, preparation of complex returns.
- Experience with exempt organizations is a plus.
- Perform other technical or strategic duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 10+ years of progressive tax experience, including 5+ years in a leadership or management role.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to take initiative, exercise flexibility, and identify innovative solutions to achieve optimal outcomes.Bilingual proficiency preferredExperience with CCH Axcess or similar tax software is a plus.Education and Certifications
