Role Summary
The International Pricing Analyst works on a fast-paced team whose responsibilities include establishing and implementing revenue and award fare initiatives and Special Prorate Agreements (SPAs) with regards to Alaska’s growing number of airline partners. The International Pricing Analyst makes decisions in the development, implementation, and tracking of appropriate revenue and award pricing strategies and provides recommendations to generate revenue and push the business forward.
Key Duties
In the Professional 1 level, under general supervision, you will analyze moderately complex markets and establish and maintain fare filings for codeshare markets as well as online and partner awards. Close coordination with partner airlines, Alliances and Revenue Accounting is required. Will manage Special Prorate Agreements (SPAs) and negotiate with our airline partners.
In the Professional 2 level, you will leverage proficiency with international pricing tools, process, systems and revenue management principles to analyze market conditions and partner performance, take initiative to develop strategies in a moderately complex scope of markets, and make recommendations to leadership on how to boost partner revenues. At this level, it is expected that you will create reporting and dashboards to track partner performance and make strategic recommendations to move the business forward.
In the Professional 3 level, as a subject matter expert in international pricing, you will apply deep knowledge to determine an approach to ambiguous business challenges within a complex scope of markets, be accountable to meeting/exceeding unit revenue goals and KPI’s, and exercise considerable judgement on revenue and award pricing decisions that you will communicate across the company.

- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering or related discipline, or 2 years of experience in pricing, analytics or related area in lieu of this degree.

2 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, analytics or related area.
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering or related discipline, or an additional 2 years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.

4 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, analytics or related area.
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering or related discipline, or an additional 2 years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.

$58,250 -- $145,800 / year

Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
