We are seeking a designer with consulting engineering experience that will be responsible for schematic design through construction administration for offices, retail, condominiums, industrial and multifamily residential projects.
Summary : Performs engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives and involves conventional types of plans and specifications.
Work is reviewed by Project Managers for the application of sound professional judgment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building plumbing systems design.
- Design and layout engineering drawings.
- Complete plumbing calculations. Including : water, storm and equipment sizes.
- Design plumbing systems including sanitary waste, vent, storm, and domestic water systems.
- Designs, selects, schedules, sizes and specifies basic plumbing system components.
- Power Distributions Systems Design
- Knowledge of Revit is a plus and strong Auto Cad skills including ACAD is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft software, particularly Excel including Word, Outlook.
- Multi- family and commercial design knowledge a plus.
Qualifications :
BS in Electrical Engineering preferred
