Plant Controller
We are looking for an experienced Plant Controller to join our team in Lebanon, Kentucky. In this role, you will oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy of accounting processes for the facility. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining compliance, preparing financial analyses, and supporting operational decision-making.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the general ledger to ensure accurate reflection of financial outcomes and site performance.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure adherence to company accounting policies.
- Review and approve all expenditures at the site level.
- Supervise the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and quarter-end closing processes.
- Provide detailed financial analyses to support operational performance and strategic decisions.
- Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual budgets, coordinating departmental input to align with organizational goals.
- Oversee the annual physical inventory process, ensuring compliance with cycle count procedures and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate local collection activities to support accounts receivable processes.
- Evaluate and prepare financial reports for capital expenditure requests.
- Enhance the accounting department's efficiency through staff training, development, and performance evaluation.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a business-related field with an accounting focus.Minimum of five years of accounting experience within a manufacturing or profit-driven environment.Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, general accounting practices, and audit procedures.Proficiency in automated accounting systems, with preference for experience in Eaton systems.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to operational teams.Experience with month-end closing processes and financial statement analysis.Familiarity with managing annual physical inventory and budgeting processes.
