Speech Therapist - Acute Care & Skilled LTC Rehab

Job Summary : MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dedicated rehab team in a full-time role that offers both variety and meaningful patient impact. This position is a split between Glenridge and Acute Care Therapy at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta.

Job Description :

$10,000 sign-on bonus potential for experienced Speech Therapists!

Available to candidates with at least one year of experience

Must commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week

Not available to current MaineGeneral employees or former employees separated for less than one year

What You’ll Do :

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings

Document progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team

Educate and support patients, caregivers, and families throughout the care continuum

Assist with discharge planning and recommend appropriate support resources

Supervise clinical fellows, students, and support staff as needed

What You Bring :

Maine State Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by ASHA (preferred, or earned within 1 year)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)
