What you'll do

The Engineering security team is responsible for reducing risk across the wide range of applications and platforms that make up our ground segment. Specifically, our Automation and Ops team os responsible for :

• Working with other software teams to ensure they meet security requirements
• Writing and reviewing security automation for critical procedures
• Auditing configuration and logs to ensure compliance and identify problems
• Collaborating with architects on elements of system design
• Refactoring legacy systems to reduce technical debt
• Developing innersource libraries and operating software services to fill gaps
• Staying ahead of new developments and advisories from the security community

What you'll need

Requirements :

Education : Completion of Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science or related field

Experience : This role is intended for someone with 0-3 years of full-time, relevant industry experience

Additional :

Some knowledge of security fundamentals and the "secure by design" philosophy

Critical thinking skills

A willingness to question, collaborate and learn

Salary range

$82,500.00 - $129,500.00 / annually.

For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $102,000.00- $153,000.00 / annually
