Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Dental Hygienist
  • Experience with GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
  • Active Dental Hygiene license in Indiana
  • CPR certification
  • X-ray certification / training

    • Skills & Responsibilities

  • Perform oral hygiene treatments and patient education in line with state guidelines
  • Remove plaque, calculus, and stains above and below the gum line
  • Operate GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) equipment where required
  • Apply fluoride treatments and protective dental sealants
  • Take and review patient medical histories
  • Provide nutritional counseling and oral self-care education
  • Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and other clinical safety protocols
  • Maintain inventory and supply ordering as needed
  • Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered team environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
