Are you a Genitourinary Oncologist seeking an academic-focused opportunity in Louisiana? Are purpose is the treatment and control of cancer, the advancement of biomedical knowledge through laboratory and clinical research, and the training of physicians, scientists, and other healthcare workers. About the Role :

As a GU Oncologist at our institution, you'll play a leading role in our academic-focused Hematology / Oncology department :

• Mentor fellows, residents, and medical students, fostering their growth and development through research-driven multi-disciplinary care.
• Lead clinical trial research initiatives, collaborating with bench researchers and publishing groundbreaking findings as primary authors.
• 50% protected time (minimum) for incoming faculty
• Primarily manage prostate cancer cases
• Make a direct impact in combating prostate cancer, which represents 14.4% of all new cancer cases in Louisiana
