Job Summary :
The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting and managing aspects of construction and operational projects by coordinating schedules, resources, budgets, and communications across stakeholders. This role requires independent judgment and discretion to make decisions that impact project success, ensuring that projects are executed on time, within scope, and in alignment with company goals. The Project Coordinator serves as a critical link between project managers, field teams, clients, and vendors
Duties / Responsibilities :
Collaborate with Project Managers to plan, coordinate, and oversee assigned projects.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and track progress against milestones.
Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and assist in preparing financial forecasts.
Exercise discretion in resolving project challenges, scheduling conflicts, or resource shortages.
Serve as a point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors regarding project progress and updates.
Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and documentation for leadership.
Review project contracts, change orders, and vendor agreements for accuracy and compliance.
Ensure project documentation, including safety compliance records, permits, and contracts, is accurate and complete.
Analyze project risks and recommend solutions to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
Coordinate procurement and timely delivery of project materials.
Support the implementation of project management best practices and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Education / Certifications / Licenses
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field required
PMP, CAPM, or related project management certification preferred
OSHA 30 certification preferred or ability to obtain
Experience
3-5 years of experience in project coordination or project management support
Experience in construction, contracting, or project-based environments strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to independently manage schedules, budgets, and communications
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar)

Ability to exercise independent judgment in managing project challenges
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management platforms
Ability to interpret contracts, budgets, and project schedules
Effective at building relationships and influencing stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple priorities
