IT Administrator and Programmer (VBA / SQL / AI Implementation)
Pay : DOE ($80-$90k)
4 S.T.E.L. Engineering , with offices in Mission Viejo and Anaheim, CA , is seeking a full-time IT Administrator & Programmer to support our growing structural engineering practice. This role combines IT administration with programming and automation, providing the opportunity to directly impact workflows, efficiencies, and the future of technology within our firm.
We are a family-oriented company with a relaxed, collaborative environment, offering exposure to diverse projects across commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, and renewable energy markets.
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (based in Mission Viejo or Anaheim office).

Administer IT infrastructure and support for 45+ employees across two Orange County officesCoordinate and manage third-party vendors and external IT supportProvide technical support, training, and troubleshooting for systems, networks, and applicationsInstall, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and network equipmentOversee access control, HVAC monitoring, and building systems technologyDevelop, optimize, and automate workflows through Excel-based VBA programmingCustomize and support accounting software via SQL programmingManage Microsoft 365 accounts, SharePoint sites, permissions, and security settingsCreate and maintain IT policies, procedures, and user-friendly "how-to" guides / tutorialsTrack and manage IT and corporate assets (SnipeIT, MyGlue, Keeper, etc.)Support workstation / server deployments and lifecycle management of IT equipmentConduct weekly IT check-ins with staff to ensure system reliabilityCollaborate with engineers to automate complex calculations and processesResearch, analyze, and make recommendations on AI tools and implementation strategies to improve engineering workflows and operational efficiencyAssist in property management tasks (vendor coordination, building systems, etc.)Qualifications
