Senior Network Engineer (New York)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team in a dynamic, fast-paced financial environment. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure, scalable, and high-performing network that supports critical business operations. Youll work closely with the Network Manager and IT teams, ensuring continuous uptime and optimal performance across the firms network and voice systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, design, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless solutions).
• Provide 24x7 support and serve as Level 2 / 3 escalation for IT teams and IPC turret systems.
• Configure and optimize firewalls (Cisco ASA / FTD, Palo Alto) and manage VPNs, load balancers, and remote access solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve network performance using industry tools (e.g., SolarWinds).
• Collaborate on integration of network solutions with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
• Lead and support network, telephony, and data center projects, including moves / adds / changes.
• Maintain vendor relationships, telecom circuits, and market connectivity.
• Support Cisco Unified Communications, AV systems, and IPC turret environments.
• Develop documentation for network processes, configurations, and troubleshooting.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and security practices to enhance infrastructure resilience.
