Connected Health Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Local Travel Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our partner facility in Hollister, California . This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a supportive team in a beautiful Central California location.

Position Overview

As a Wound Care RN , you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and implementing wound care treatment plans for patients across a variety of clinical settings. You’ll work closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal healing and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

Administer wound care procedures including dressing changes, debridement, and pressure injury prevention

Educate patients and families on wound management, infection prevention, and post-discharge care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

Maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with facility and state regulations

Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols

Education & Certification Requirements

Current California Registered Nursing (RN) License

Certified Wound Nurse with proven prior experience in wound care

Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Minimum of 2 years of wound care nursing experience preferred

Skills & Qualifications

Strong clinical judgment and wound care expertise

Excellent communication and patient education skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
