Contingent Dental Assistant : Per Required Need

We are seeking new team members to join our dental clinics. These positions are contingent and are perfect for those applicants looking to work on an as needed basis.

Job Description :

The Dental Assistants in our clinics will be responsible for providing ongoing support to the dentist / hygienist in providing quality dental care to patients. The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, and have excellent customer service skills. They must be organized and able to work well in a team environment. Professionalism is a must, as they will be interacting with patients on a daily basis. This entry level position is the foundation for learning four-handed dentistry and advancing to Dental Assistant levels two (DA2) and three (DA3).

Responsibilities :

• Assisting the dentist and hygienist during procedures
• Assist in the general workflow of the clinic
• Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Weekly maintenance of dental equipment
• Taking and developing x-rays
• Take and record medical and dental records
• Record patient vital signs
• Maintaining patient records
• Performing other duties as assigned
