Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Cooperstown, NY. This is a great opportunity to work with a highly skilled surgical team in a region known for its charm, scenic beauty, and vibrant community. -

Assignment Overview :

Location : Cooperstown, NY

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day shift

Case Types Include : General surgery

ENT (adults only)

Orthopedic (total knees, hips, shoulders)

Plastics (including flap procedures)

Abdominal and bowel resections

Whipple procedures

D&C and hysterectomies

Gastric sleeves

Podiatry

Neurological (craniotomies and other neuro cases)

Back surgeries

Urology (cystoscopy and stent placements)

Responsibilities :

Circulate for various surgical cases

Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments

Ensure patient safety and maintain a sterile environment

Work closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes

Respond to intraoperative changes quickly and effectively

Requirements :

Active RN license NYstate

Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience

Strong circulating experience; scrub experience preferred

BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)

Ability to handle a wide variety of cases independently
