Curtis Machine is looking to expand our team of qualified Trade Professionals.

We are looking to hire a CNC Machine Programmer and Operator to create and refine CNC programs for precision machinery, using CAD software to translate 3D models into machine-readable code.

Requirements :

• Blueprint reading, basic math
• Ability to plan a machining and tooling sequence based on engineering documentation
• Able to keep team members well informed and to draw on other's expertise when required
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation and write appropriate machine-level instructions, including revisions to existing programs
• Good computer skills and ability to query, monitor, and input NC machine and system data
• Ability to professionally communicate and work with others
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Willingness to learn and receive training and, if required, train others
• Experience with Mastercam 2017 or newer
• 3 / 4 / 5 axis and horizontal
• Experience with Vericut verification software
• Proven Mastercam experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents
• Parts List
• Drawing
• EDRN / DNC / SSP / ZSP
• 3D annotation sets
• Machining background preferred
• Ability to utilize required inspection equipment
• Creative thinking skills required

These are first shift opportunities with a pay rate dependent on experience & skill level.
