About the Podiatric Physician
Upperline Health is seeking a well-trained Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide foot and ankle care in a clinic based in Carmel, Indiana . The candidate should demonstrate compassion for patient needs, have great attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment. As Upperline expands, this individual will be able to explore a wide range of career opportunities within the company.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide Upperline services in a clinic setting; staff membership at the hospital will be expected.
- Assess patients with lower extremity complaints, review medical history, perform a physical examination, order imaging or labs, and develop a clinical plan of care.
- Deliver comprehensive podiatric care including at-risk foot care, traumatic and wound care, and surgical management when appropriate.
- Educate patients and families about foot care, general wellness, medication usage, adherence, and prevention.
- Maintain patient medical records and documentation in line with state regulations and Upperline Health standards.
- Participate in continuing education as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
- Prescribe medications as permitted by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
- Other related duties as deemed necessary.
