General Information

  • Located in Lordstown, OH
  • $17-$29.00 / hour based on previous experience.
  • 3rd shift working Sunday night thru Thursday night, 11pm-7am
  • Must be able to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks.
  • Direct Hire opportunity with the company.

As the Process Technician you would be responsible for overseeing the teardown and setup of injection molding machines for each production run.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Understands processing of different grades of plastics to make quality parts.
  • Help with samples of new molds and materials.
  • Perform color changes and material changes efficiently.
  • Perform first piece inspections of finished parts after a changeover.
  • Follows safety policies and LOTO procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Records data, creates set up sheets, maintains change logs.
  • Keeps work areas clean and organized.
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Ability to use Shot scope or other production monitoring software.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.

    • Skills / Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in injection molding with mold setup and troubleshooting experience.
  • Prior experience working on molding machines such as Husky, BMB, Van Dorn and / or Milacron are a plus.
  • Lift and handle 55 lbs occasionally, good hand / eye coordination, good mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic computer knowledge, good communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
