Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Lead Pharmacy Technician to assist our customers at Stephens Pharmacy. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department : Stephens Pharmacy is a retail pharmacy that has proudly served the community for over 50 years. It operates in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment where the team works directly with patients every day to help them navigate medication therapies, insurance barriers, and access challenges by using advanced tools and technology like PioneerRx, MedSync coordination, ParataMax2 and ICON pill counter. The primary focus is ensuring patients understand their medications and feel supported in their healthcare journey while building a culture that prioritizes communication, collaboration, and fun—whether it’s through spontaneous team games, food celebrations, or just making each other laugh throughout the day!

A typical day includes :

• Assists in selection of new employees and conducts orientation, teaching, and in-service training programs
• Oversees task assignments and scheduling for other pharmacy technicians
• Assists pharmacists with communication to patients and providers
• Prepares and labels medications for dispensing
• Assures adequate supplies of medications are available
• Enters insurance information, processes insurance claims, and assists with billing transactions
