Lead Data Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Lead Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. This role requires proven experience leading end-to-end data projects and collaborating with business stakeholders and offshore teams.

Rate Range : $58 / hour to $60 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Lead Data Engineer job responsibilities include :

• Lead end-to-end data projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, and delivery in collaboration with business stakeholders and offshore teams.
• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Spark streaming, and AWS computing services.
• Implement advanced dimensional data models, including Slowly Changing Dimensions (Type 1, 2, 3), to support analytics and reporting.
• Optimize SQL queries and data workflows across platforms like Vertica, Singlestore, and GBI Keystone.
• Automate data processing and transformation using Python and related libraries for performance and reliability.
• Ensure architectural integrity and performance tuning of cloud-based data solutions, including Snowflake and AWS integrations.

Pay Details : $58.00 to $60.00 per hour
