Enterprise Medical Recruiting is seeking an OB / GYN laborist to join a team to practice inpatient care in West Massachusetts and be responsible for patients in the Maternity Department, with consultation with the Emergency Department and general OB or Surgical consult.
About the position :
- 2 OBGYN Laborists (cover deliveries only)
- 8 OBGYN Generalists
- 4 Physician Assistants ? do admin work and patient support in labor and delivery
- Advanced Practice Provider support
- 80 deliveries per month
- 30% C-section rate and 24% NVTS cesarean rate
- Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
- Award-winning community medical center with a new emergency department and intensive care unit
- Physician on call for backup
- Shift Hours : 8a-8p, 8p-8a ? can support 12 hr shifts or 24 hr shifts
- Coverage : Labor and Delivery floor, Outpatient phone calls, ED consults / triage
- Nursing Staff : good relationship with the nursing staff and as a collaborative clinical team
