Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for an Occupational Therapist

Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to implement high-quality Occupational Therapy services. The ideal candidate will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and guide clients toward improved independence and functionality.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments, diagnostic tests, and skilled treatments in accordance with the client’s medically approved Plan of Care.
• Develop treatment programs, establish goals, and document client progress.
• Communicate findings and updates to physicians, nursing Case Managers, and Agency staff.
• Instruct clients and families on therapeutic self-care and adaptive techniques.
• Design and recommend assistive devices or splints to enhance client functionality.
• Ensure compliance with Agency policies, state / federal regulations, and JCAHO standards.
• Participate in care conferences, interdisciplinary referrals, and care coordination.
• Serve on the Clinical Record Review Committee and attend required meetings / educational programs.

Requirements : Education :

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (accredited by CAHEA of the AMA and AOTA).

Eligible for the National Registration Examination of the AOTA.

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare facility or equivalent setting.

Other :

Current state licensure / registration as an Occupational Therapist.

CPR certification.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Licensed driver with reliable, insured transportation and a safe driving record.

Compensation and Benefits :

Salary :  $120,000 - $150,000 per year (Per Diem rates discussed during the interview).
