Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to implement high-quality Occupational Therapy services. The ideal candidate will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and guide clients toward improved independence and functionality.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments, diagnostic tests, and skilled treatments in accordance with the client’s medically approved Plan of Care.
- Develop treatment programs, establish goals, and document client progress.
- Communicate findings and updates to physicians, nursing Case Managers, and Agency staff.
- Instruct clients and families on therapeutic self-care and adaptive techniques.
- Design and recommend assistive devices or splints to enhance client functionality.
- Ensure compliance with Agency policies, state / federal regulations, and JCAHO standards.
- Participate in care conferences, interdisciplinary referrals, and care coordination.
- Serve on the Clinical Record Review Committee and attend required meetings / educational programs.
Requirements : Education :
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (accredited by CAHEA of the AMA and AOTA).Eligible for the National Registration Examination of the AOTA.Experience :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare facility or equivalent setting.Other :
Current state licensure / registration as an Occupational Therapist.CPR certification.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Licensed driver with reliable, insured transportation and a safe driving record.Compensation and Benefits :
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000 per year (Per Diem rates discussed during the interview).Benefits : (To be specified during the hiring process).Schedule :
