We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at a prominent manufacturing plant. This role involves cleaning assigned areas using specified materials and equipment, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.

Responsibilities :

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors using approved methods.
• Move equipment and furniture for thorough cleaning and return them to their correct placements.
• Clean assigned areas with the use of designated materials and equipment.

This position offers the opportunity to work onsite at a leading manufacturing plant. Employees will initially be on a contract for six weeks, after which they will join a union, gain access to health benefits, and receive pay increases according to their Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Work Environment :

The work environment is at a manufacturing plant in Fremont, with a day shift schedule from 6 am to 2 : 30 pm, Wednesday through Sunday. The role requires collaboration with the site team, providing an opportunity to work in a dynamic and structured setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $18.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
