Answer the call to serve as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This opportunity invites you to blend clinical skill with heartfelt caregiving, guiding residents through daily routines, managing chronic conditions, and supporting families in moments that matter.
In the Land of Enchantment, you’ll discover a setting that enriches your professional purpose and your personal life.
Picture mornings with desert light warming the Sandia Mountains, afternoons exploring the New Mexico museums and markets, and evenings spent unwinding after a meaningful shift.
Albuquerque offers a vibrant urban hub with a friendly, close-knit community feel, easy access to outdoor adventures, and a welcoming spirit that makes it easy to plant roots while you grow your nursing career.
Separately, you’ll also have the chance to work in varied locations across the United States, expanding your clinical perspective and building a network of colleagues you can rely on wherever your career takes you next.
Location benefits go beyond the walls of the facility.
Albuquerque blends a thriving cultural scene with affordable living, great dining, and ample opportunities to enjoy the outdoors—whether it’s a scenic stroll through Old Town, a sunset view from a hillside overlook, or a day trip to nearby pueblos and natural parks.
Working in this location gives you exposure to diverse resident populations, interdisciplinary teams, and a community that values compassionate care.
And because this role can be part of a broader network, you’ll have the option to experience placements in other states, experiencing different facility models, regulatory environments, and patient needs while maintaining your professional continuity and growth.
The experience you gain in Long-Term Care will strengthen your clinical assessment skills, deepen your ability to lead care teams, and broaden your understanding of geriatric health across settings.
In this role, your key responsibilities center on delivering high-quality, person-centered care.
You’ll perform direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, administer medications, monitor vital signs, assess changes in condition, and participate in ongoing care planning to promote comfort, safety, and independence for residents with chronic illnesses, dementia, post-acute needs, and end-of-life considerations.
You’ll support activities of daily living, assist with mobility, wound care, and symptom management, and document all interventions clearly in the electronic health record.
You’ll collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and family members to ensure seamless transitions and consistent communication.
Your leadership will extend to supporting CNAs, coaching new staff, and contributing to a supportive unit culture that prioritizes safety, respect, and continuous learning.
The role also offers clear pathways for professional growth within long-term care, including opportunities to deepen expertise in geriatric assessment, palliative care, infection control, and best-practice LTC protocols, with mentorship and ongoing education that recognize your aspirations.
Competitive benefits are a core part of this opportunity.
In addition to a weekly pay range of $954 to $1,011, you’ll have access to a sign-on style bonus program, housing assistance to ease relocation and temporary lodging, and the potential for extension opportunities based on performance and facility needs.
You’ll join a comprehensive support network designed to help you succeed, including 24 / 7 assistance while you travel with the company.
This means you’re never alone on a new assignment—there’s always someone ready to help with scheduling, housing logistics, credentialing, or any on-site challenges that arise.
The combination of financial stability, practical support, and a culture of mutual care makes this an ideal environment for recognizing your value and helping you build a durable, rewarding LTC nursing career.
Our company values your growth as much as your compassion.
We’re committed to empowering staff through ongoing training, mentorship, and clear pathways toward leadership roles.
The workplace is designed to be collaborative, respectful, and inclusive, with supervisors who advocate for your career advancement, celebrate your successes, and help you navigate any obstacle.
You’ll find a supportive environment where your expertise is trusted, your workload is managed with fairness, and your voice contributes to shaping best practices in elder care.
If you’re a dedicated LPN with a passion for long-term care and a desire to expand your horizons, this is an exciting chance to join a company that values your contribution and invests in your professional development.
