Policy and Governance Specialist

The ideal candidate self-starter who can provide client solutions with minimal instructions and can run projects independently. The Policy and Governance Specialist will support a high-performing team committed to driving customer satisfaction through delivery and innovation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills with the ability to present complex issues in clear and concise documentation.  The candidate will be required to demonstrate a strong record of client delivery and thrive in a dynamic work environment, exhibiting ability to be flexible.  The candidate must work well as part of a team and have the ability to lead aspects of the team.

Responsibilities :

• Provide support services related to the establishing and supporting program governance, including stakeholder analysis, charter development, governance metrics, and facilitation.  Develop program artifacts and other documentation to support federal programs.
• Develop communication materials to include briefings, reports, white papers, brochures and other documents to support program objectives.
• Provide support in evaluating program authorities and tracking policy from initial issuance to organizational guidelines.  Ability to evaluate policy for ease of implementation and support guidance documentation and procedures to better implement policy.
• Ability to translate policy into digital policy and business rules for digital implementation.
• Assist with the development of new policy, simplifying rules and recommending policy updates.
• Provide privacy and transparency guidance and support necessary compliance documentation.
