Tax Manager - CPA

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a well respected public accounting firm, seeks a Tax Manager to join its extended family environment in Somers, NY. In this position, you will assist with client relations, provide day-to-day accounting support to a portfolio of clients, and supervise "value added" non audit related engagements, prepare tax filings as well as research and planning activities. This is a unique firm that offers a balanced "Quality of Life". Public accounting experience and a CPA certification are required.Responsibilities :

• Implementing and overseeing the tax plan
• Performing managerial functions in the office
• Prepare the required government documents concerning taxes
• Ensure the accuracy of all documents
• Offering solutions to pressing tax problems
• Working with a diverse group of people to further the goals of the company
• Accurately and efficiently managing tax reporting and planning and ensure compliance of tax laws for the company or client

Skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
