TJH Patient Ambassador PRN

Serves as a navigator and registrar. Responsible for managing patient flow on each floor and in the building lobby. The Patient Ambassador is responsible for ensuring the prompt and courteous greeting of all patients, assisting patients with wayfinding, and ensuring their registration, check-in, and copay collection are complete.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients upon arrival for scheduled procedures.
• Verify patient identity and appointment details in the system.
• Print and issue patient wristbands for identification.
• Provide patients with all necessary paperwork required for their procedure.
• Ensure paperwork accompanies the patient to the procedure area.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and clinical staff.
• Monitor patient flow to ensure timely processing and minimize delays.
