The Yard Specialist I is responsible for general maintenance and logistics of the yard, as well as supporting the rental, parts, and service departments as needed. What you'll do includes : preparing tools for shipment to other stores and dealers, properly disposing of all tools received for factory, vendors, and other locations, assembling and disassembling work tools as required, maintaining good order and cleanliness of the yard, assisting rental, parts, and service departments, greeting customers in the yard, assisting delivery drivers in loading and unloading work tools, washing and performing light maintenance on work tools, having a good working knowledge of all work tools, making final inspection of equipment before customer receives it, verifying fuel consumed and inspecting all detail of equipment when returned, installing service tags on equipment returned from rental, moving rental ready equipment back to proper storage areas following routine maintenance procedures, assisting customers and delivery drivers in loading and unloading rental equipment, giving customers start / stop and general operating instructions on rental equipment.

What you'll need includes : a proactive, problem-solving attitude, ability to manage a varied workload, detail-orientation, excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work overtime, ability to pass workstep test, high school diploma or general education degree, or one to three months related experience and / or training.
