About the Role :

We're looking for a results-driven Procurement Specialist to strengthen our aerospace and defense supply chain operations. In this role, you'll ensure our suppliers deliver with precision, flexibility, and speed to support our 24 / 7 mission-critical environment. You'll collaborate across teams to optimize performance, reduce costs, and drive continuous improvement in every aspect of our procurement process.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Supplier Relationships : Manage communications and expectations across RFQs, purchase orders, logistics and ongoing tactical discussions.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment : Partner with engineering, operations, manufacturing, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations and on-time delivery.
  • Identify Cost Savings : Find and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs through strategic sourcing and process optimization.
  • Ensure System Visibility : Maintain and manage your procurement activities through our integrated ERP / MRP systems.
  • Support Operations : Travel up to 25% to engage directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in government contracting with knowledge of FAR and DFAR flowdowns.
  • At least 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a technical or industrial environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in defense or heavy industrial manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with ERP / MRP systems for integrated inventory and procurement management.
