Job Title : CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. This role involves setting up and programming CNC Lathes and Mills, working independently from detailed drawings, and selecting the appropriate machine tools and settings for various materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up and program CNC Lathes and Mills.
• Work independently from detailed technical drawings.
• Select proper tooling, jigs, fixtures, and determine correct speeds and feeds.
• Machine various materials including plastic, steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, NiCu, CuNi, Inconel, Monel, and NiALBRZ.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Handle extensive tooling operations.
• Perform machine set up, changeovers, and troubleshooting.
• Utilize Mastercam, Fusion 360, and Fanuk Controls.
• Operate Haas machines, read blueprints, and perform minor program edits as needed.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yorktown, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $33.00 / hr.
