The Vice President of QAQC & Commissioning Services (CX) reports to the EVP of Product Delivery and is responsible for leading the quality assurance, quality control, and commissioning strategy for Prime Data Centers across the United States. This executive role ensures that all data center facilities—whether new builds, phased expansions, or retrofits—meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, safety, and operational readiness. The VP oversees internal and third‑party teams to execute critical validation activities and implements controls that protect project outcomes, client expectations, and uptime objectives.

Responsibilities
Lead the QAQC and commissioning vision across Prime’s U.S. portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and delivery timelines.
Develop and institutionalize U.S.-specific QAQC and commissioning standards, procedures, and best practices that support consistency and operational excellence.
Serve as a senior advisor to executive leadership on technical risk exposure, compliance, and long‑term asset performance.
Develop and maintain budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Direct the full commissioning lifecycle across all U.S. projects—including planning, scripting, Factory Witness Testing (FWT), Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and turnover to operations.
Ensure all MEP, life safety, BMS, controls, and IT systems are tested under load and operational scenarios to validate design criteria and uptime requirements.
Implement feedback loops from lessons learned, customer audits, and operational data to improve future commissioning cycles.
Establish nationwide QAQC standards, inspection protocols, reporting formats, and non‑conformance processes to ensure design fidelity and construction quality.
Oversee quality performance at the site level through regular audits, punch list tracking, and corrective action oversight.
Maintain traceability of inspection and commissioning results using QAQC dashboards and digital tracking systems.
Lead and develop a U.S.-based team of QAQC engineers and commissioning managers, fostering a results‑oriented culture of safety, discipline, and accountability.
Manage third‑party commissioning agents and consultants to ensure alignment with Prime’s goals, deliverables, and project schedules.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—Design, Construction, Operations, IT, and Customer Success—to embed QAQC and Cx success factors into each delivery stage.
Ensure all QAQC and commissioning activities comply with U.S. regulatory codes (e.g., NFPA, NEC, ASHRAE, IBC), corporate safety protocols, and customer‑specific requirements.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks to uptime, reliability, safety, and project cost during construction and handover phases.
Lead investigations and root cause analyses of system failures, commissioning anomalies, or construction quality issues, ensuring lessons learned are institutionalized.
Oversee the transition of projects from construction to operations, ensuring full documentation, training, and system performance verification.
Support Prime Operations with redlines, as‑built validation, O&M documentation, and commissioning closeout packages.
Champion commissioning and quality efforts that support ESG initiatives, including energy efficiency, water optimization, and equipment longevity.
Promote the use of commissioning analytics platforms, real‑time issue tracking, and cloud‑based documentation to increase delivery efficiency.
Represent Prime Data Centers at U.S. industry events, peer groups, and working committees focused on QAQC and commissioning best practices.
Act as a key technical liaison during customer audits, certification processes (e.g., Uptime Tier Certification, LEED), and due diligence efforts.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and technical development of commissioning talent throughout the region.
Travel up to 50% of the time to support active project sites, customer meetings, and partner engagements.
